We are the Forge

Our huge burgers started from little beginnings. It began with a couple of burger-lovers and friends who envisioned a new kind of restaurant: a burger joint serving freshly made and perfectly prepared burgers. Forge Burger takes you back to the basics. Our burgers are ground-in house daily using hormone-free, range-fed, AAA beef, chicken, and pork, brought to you with fast, friendly service. We source locally — Forge Burger is the quintessential local eating joint!

More than just a burger. It’s an experience in itself. We don’t know how to put it into words. You’ll just have to stop by or order a burger for yourself.

Julie Smith

Julie was a baker since she could walk -- she often helped at the family bakery (517 Bakery). She studied Business at the University of British Columbia (B.Comm.) and while there she met Ben -- friends became partners and then owners. Her passion for the ultimate baked bun combined with the juiciest patty resulted in Forge Burger!

Ben Parker

Ben began his career in restaurant industry from the ground up -- from humble beginnings as a dishwasher, to sous chef, to line cook to chef. His passion has always been good food, great taste, and sustainability.
